McConnell is a multidisciplinary artist, designer and writer from the Sonoran Desert, currently based in London. Their work explores how environments shape identity and behavior, often drawing from the spatial qualities and material conditions of desert landscapes. Alongside their design practice, they have worked as a writer covering food and culture, with a focus on Phoenix and the broader Southwest.
